Emmanuel Monod, PhD

Full Professor

Emmanuel is CEIBA’s associate dean for Graduate Programs. He is also professor at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, School of Management, director of international affairs of the research institute “Artificial Intelligence and Change Management” and vice-director of the key lab “Data Science and Management Decision”.


He has been elected at the Academy of Management (AOM) as MC division representative-at-large board member, at the AOM MED division as international relations officer, and at the AOM All-Academy Practice Theme Committee as chair of the professional development workshops. He is also the president of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) SIG culture and information systems and president-elect of the AIS SIG philosophy and information systems.

Emmanuel serves as chair of the Academy of Management OCIS division conference on “Change Management, Artificial Intelligence and Social Media”, August 7th 2019, Harvard University, USA, and conference chair of the Academy of Management MC division and OCIS division joint conference on “Artificial Intelligence in Management”, August 8th 2019, Harvard University, USA.
