Dr. Sylvester Nyamekye is a legal practitioner, business executive and researcher based in Accra, Ghana. He is Founder and Managing Partner of Nyamekye and Partners, where he advises and represents local and international clients across corporate law, employment and labour law, real estate, energy and communications, insurance, arbitration, development finance and litigation.
His academic background combines law, business and finance. He holds degrees in History and Sociology and Law, an MSc in Development Finance, an LL.M. in Information Technology Law, and a Doctor of Business Administration from IPAG Business School. His broader academic interests also extend to artificial intelligence, maritime law, international finance and international politics.
Alongside his professional practice, Dr. Nyamekye is active in mentoring and professional development and has founded initiatives supporting young leaders and professional networks in Ghana and internationally.

Nyamekye’s doctoral research investigates the determinants of business continuity in Ghanaian law firms, using professional legal practice as a setting for understanding organizational resilience and continuity in an emerging economy. The research connects the management of professional-service firms with broader questions of dynamic capabilities, adaptation and institutional context.
