Dr. Zheng Xinhai is a business executive, engineer and scholar-practitioner with extensive experience in construction, investment, enterprise transformation and technology innovation. He is Chairman of Zhongjian Investment Holding (Guangzhou) Group Co., Ltd. and Executive Chairman of the Guangdong Private Enterprise Import and Export Chamber of Commerce.
He also serves as an industry consultant to the Digital Industry and Virtual Reality Technology Joint Laboratory of the China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute and to the Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Research Center at South China University of Technology. A professor-level senior engineer and registered first-class construction engineer, he has also held guest-professor and postgraduate mentoring roles at several universities.

Zheng’s DBA research investigated the transformation and upgrading of Chinese private construction enterprises, focusing on the internal and external drivers of transformation, strategic pathways, innovation capabilities and organizational performance.
