For the first time, a cohort of graduate students from CEIBA’s master program in cooperation with the European University Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) has traveled to Spain to attend their graduation ceremony. They have been welcomed to the UEMC’s campus in Valladolid on June 3, and the university organised a company visit on June 4.

The Rector, David García López, has opened the graduation ceremony with a moving speech regarding the values of the UEMC, and the meaning of further education. He insisted that if the universities’ values are embedded in all programs, they remain with students even after their graduation. Javier Rodriguez Escobar, the vice-rector for quality and online education, has produced a speech in which he congratulated the students for their achievement and wished them success in their future career. Finally, students learned more about the culture and history of Spain and Valladolid thanks to the lecture given by Amaya Barrio Velasco, a profesor at the departament of humanities at the UEMC.
