The ceremony was hosted by the Sichuan Zhongtai Institute of Economic Management, in partnership with Pan-European University Prague Business School, and gathered distinguished faculty members, academic leaders, and elite professionals from across China. Together, they embarked on a learning journey that integrates global vision, practical management, and cross-cultural wisdom.

The ceremony was warmly hosted by Ms. Luo Siyin, Class Director of the 2025 cohort. With thoughtful reflections on the value of encounter and shared growth, she opened the event in a tone that was both solemn and inspiring.
As the national anthems of China and the Czech Republic were played, all attendees stood in respect—symbolizing the formal launch of this cross-border academic collaboration.
Dr. Yang Minggao, Executive Dean of the Sichuan Zhongtai Institute of Economic Management, delivered the opening address. He highlighted the institute’s deep cultural roots and its guiding spirit of innovation, rational thinking, and social responsibility.
Addressing the current economic cycle, Dr. Yang emphasized the importance of understanding evolving consumption patterns, including rational consumption behavior and emerging sectors such as the silver economy and pet economy. He encouraged enterprises to create sustainable value through both incremental improvement and disruptive innovation.
Dr. Yang also introduced the MBA program’s distinctive features: a strong global perspective, a practice-oriented curriculum, the application of the PESTG macro-analysis framework, and access to a powerful network of international scholars and entrepreneurial alumni. He concluded by warmly welcoming the new cohort to a platform dedicated to learning by doing and lifelong growth.

The rector of Pan-European University in Prague, Vladimír Krajčík, delivered an online keynote address highlighting the university’s rapid development. In 2022, the institution officially achieved full university status and doctoral degree authorization, becoming the first private university in its region to reach this level.
Professor Li emphasized the university’s industry-oriented approach, with new faculties in areas such as security and aviation transport, and an impressive graduate employment rate of 97%.
Regarding the joint MBA program, he underlined its flexible, practice-focused structure designed to support busy executives, ensuring both an enriching learning experience and academic success.


Speaking on behalf of the new cohort, Ms. Zhou Xuemei, Vice Principal of Tianli School in Xichang, Liangshan Prefecture, shared her motivation for returning to academia from the education sector.
Facing policy reforms and the impact of AI on education, she expressed the need to break disciplinary boundaries and integrate business thinking with educational practice. She also highlighted the value of peer exchange and cross-industry collaboration, viewing this cohort as a vital resource for future transformation and social impact.

Immediately following the ceremony, students attended their first course, delivered by Professor Hao Xinjun from Peking University HSBC Business School. With the exchange of ideas and intellectual sparks, the academic journey of the Class of 2025 officially began.
