July 25th in Nanjing, a moving graduation ceremony took place with almost 90 master graduates from the European University Miguel de Cervantes.

The UEMC’s Vice Rector Javier Alfonso Rodriguez Escobar participated online and sent his warm wishes to all graduates. “I hope that you have successfully managed to achieve the goals that were set for you in this ambitious study programs. You have maintained the goals and purposes you had set at the beginning of the training program and in your professional life.”

The UEMC’s Program Director Alberto Quintanilla Herrero produced an online speech. In his speech, he stressed that the UEMC is very aware of the strategic importance of lifelong learning and specialized training in both classroom and online mode and therefore the university promotes the talent of professionals who lead change in their sectors. “Remember that you are ambassadors of our alliance with CEIBA and proof that education knows no borders. Your achievements are our achievements, and your growth is our greatest reward.
Our partnership with CEIBA dates back to 2019 and is clear proof of our commitment to cutting-edge training. Thanks to it, joint initiatives have been developed that integrate training, research and academic mobility, benefiting both students and teachers. In fact, in these six years we have trained more than a thousand students.
Today we celebrate not only your success in obtaining your master’s degree, but also the strengthening of ties between Spain and China in the higher education sector.”

Since the participation of the leaders of the UEMC was online, Professor Wei from Tongji University has given us the honor to give the degrees. After that, the students had a lively dinner and engaged in team building games. But this is a new beginning, since, as UEMC’s Program Director said: “Today you are awarded a degree in which are also engraved the values that define both CEIBA and this university and that are already yours: commitment to excellence, integrity as professionals, responsibility to transform your sectors and the ability to work as a team in multicultural environments.”
