This visit illustrates the international dimension of CEIBA Business School and its continuous development in Europe.

CEIBA’s delegation has visited the University of Angers on Tuesday, May 20. The delegation made a formal visit to the university’s business school (IAE Angers) to learn more about the school, its courses, values and operations. The visit was part of our ongoing partnership relating to the delocalized Executive MBA that we run in Shanghai since 2019. Both sides are pleased to announce that they have initiated a collaboration with the aim of developing our international links. These exchanges have the potential to open up new perspectives for Franco-Chinese collaboration.
The University of Angers is among the oldest university in France since it was initially established during the 11th century as the School of Angers. The institution was formally designated as the University of Angers in 1337 and was recognised as the fifth largest university in France at the time. The university was in existence until 1793, when a decree resulted in the closure of all universities in France. Almost two centuries later, the university was re-established in 1971 following the consolidation of several pre-existing higher education establishments. The institution subsequently expanded its network with the addition of campuses in Cholet (1987) and Saumur (2004). The University of Angers currently has over 25,000 students across all campuses. In 2015, the university was rated the best in France for success rates.

This strategic partnership with the IAE Angers is central to CEIBA’s development in China. This partnership was initiated by the EMBA that CEIBA has been developing since 2019 in Shanghai. However, both parties have expressed their intention to expand the scope of the partnership to encompass scientific research and institutional cooperation.
