Alumni of UEMC's Master in Psychology

It has become increasingly clear: the advancement of management begins with understanding “people” moving from the superficial level to the most profound ones. Thus, I took the initiative to step into the world of psychology. During my systematic studies at CEIBA in UEMC’s master in psychology, we explored the laws of human nature, thus piercing through the fabric of social practices. In the past, when handling recruitment, I focused more on checking the match between skills and positions; now, through a psychological lens, I seek to capture the passion in candidates’ career motivations, observing whether this passion can resonate with the mission of our organisation. When faced with stress and burnout within the team, I have long moved beyond simple consolation. Instead, I use the learned laws of psychology to help everyone find a balance between emotions and professional growth.

This learning journey, never detached from the practical field, is more like a continuous “clinical consultation”: bringing real work cases to consult theory, then feeding insights back into daily management. Every step of guidance from mentors and self-exploration has deepened my understanding of “people”, adding a layer of depth to my perception. It has also endowed human resources work with a heightened awareness of the subtleties of human nature, beyond mere processes. In the future, I want to continue deepening my efforts in this role, carrying the insights gained from the master’s program. Thus, I engage myself in enabling every colleague to advance professionally without compromising their true selves.
