I embarked on my EMBA journey at CEIBA Business School, UEMC, and graduated in 2025. Before starting my EMBA studies, I had accumulated years of grassroots experience in the financial industry. The systematic learning from the EMBA program became a crucial turning point in my career advancement – transforming from an executor focused on specific tasks to the current head of a secondary branch of a bank. This transformation is inseparable from the holistic perspective and professional confidence gained through learning.
In the EMBA courses, the content related to “strategic management” and “team effectiveness” had a particularly profound impact on me. In the past, when faced with business challenges, I often limited myself to a single solution. However, through the structured analysis methods learned in the courses, I have mastered the ability to formulate branch development plans from multiple dimensions, such as regional economic trends, customer demand stratification, and team capability matching. For example, when promoting the transformation of digital services, I integrated the “user experience optimization” theory from the courses to lead the sorting out of customer service processes, which not only improved efficiency but also enhanced customer stickiness. My graduation project, focusing on the “innovation of grass-roots services in small and medium-sized banks,” further enabled me to deeply integrate theory with practice, laying a solid foundation for my subsequent management work.
The EMBA study is not only an accumulation of knowledge but also a reshaping of thinking patterns. It made me understand that the essence of management is “balancing in complexity and seeking breakthroughs in changes.” For current students, my advice is to cherish every case discussion opportunity, as these experiences will eventually become your “toolkit” on the career path. I still maintain the habit of learning in my spare time, from interpreting industry policies to exploring cutting-edge management tools, always embracing new knowledge with the same enthusiasm for exploration as during my EMBA studies.
For me, I will always demand myself as a “lifelong learner” and continue to contribute to the industry with the growth gained from UEMC.
