I embarked on my EMBA journey at UEMC through CEIBA Business School and graduated in 2025. Since pursuing further studies in the EMBA program, my business and management skills have been enhanced, and I have achieved better results. Starting from 2024, the business I am responsible for has expanded from being the president of the original retail design institute and furniture design institute to a broader management scope. I have also taken on the position of vice president of new retail business, as well as responsibilities in marketing, business school, HR, and e-commerce. I have gained greater trust from the group president and my colleagues.
The stability of my original career and the expansion of my jurisdiction are largely attributed to my continued deepening and advancement in the field of business administration. In 2000, I studied for an EMBA at Sun Yat-sen University in China for two years. In 2024, I continued my education and learning in the same field, adhering to lifelong learning, which greatly enhanced my professional abilities. At the same time, it also inspired me to prepare for entrepreneurship, applying the EMBA professional knowledge, attitudes, and habits I have learned from another perspective as my own boss.
In addition, I have a personal interest in Buddhism. I am striving to integrate the EMBA curriculum system with Buddhist teachings. While practicing my faith, I have gradually formed and developed my own management system. In the near future, I believe I will achieve certain success in this area. My graduation thesis is titled “Research on Enhancing the Leadership of Middle Managers in M Company”. This thesis has helped me clarify my mission, to become a Buddhist businessman, manage effectively in five dimensions, and lead my team to achieve our mission. During this process, I led the design team, craftsmanship team, information management team, marketing team, and training team, and we received “the Best Collaboration Team Award” within the system. This paper helped me enhance the leadership skills of the team managers, who each brought their own teams and achieved excellent results.
The EMBA program has helped me systematize and professionalize my management skills under the educational system of the college. In the future, I plan to pursue a master’s degree program in “Applied Buddhism” to obtain a dual master’s degree, or continue my studies to obtain a doctorate degree in business administration.
I have greater confidence in playing a more significant role in my future career as a professional manager, and even in personal entrepreneurial practices, I am able to reduce the risk of entrepreneurial failure and have a higher chance of achieving success in family entrepreneurial projects. I hope to continue maintaining my connection with CEIBA to keep enhancing my professional skills, and I am also willing to provide some support to students on their journey towards UEMC. This is my way of giving back to the school.
